Violeta is originally from Orange County, California, where she graduated from Chapman University with a B.S. in Business Administration and minored in the Honors program, where she learned the importance of interdisciplinary education. Learning about business with an interdisciplinary lens exposed her to the interconnectedness of the world, where she saw how businesses can have a powerful and positive impact on society. Her education paired with her passion for meaningful work drives her desire to work towards BEST’s mission to end slavery and trafficking.
During her free time, Violeta enjoys trying new coffee shops and exploring Washington with her partner. Some of her hobbies include playing soccer, hiking, and camping.
