Washington State legislators are currently considering a bill that aim to decrease the harm to people who are trafficked and prostituted by increasing penalties for those who fuel their abuse: sex buyers.
Under Washington law, buyers of commercially exploited adults are penalized the same as people who litter on buses. This needs to change.
