Claire joined BEST after being a business owner who worked with the organization's Safe Jobs Collaborative. Her passion for fighting for social justice at a young age motivated her to pursue many interests academically and professionally. After graduating from the University of Washington in Business and Sociology and from Seattle University with a MBA, she worked extensively in global business relationships, hospitality consulting, and community development domestically and internationally.
Through her journey, she traveled around the world and saw a need to create purpose driven businesses that build communities through the common dedication of loving others who are in need. When she returned home to Bellevue, WA, she opened a café that partners with local charities with most of its proceeds donated and establishes collaboration through volunteering and awareness campaigns. When she learned about BEST, she knew it was the dream job that can utilize her knowledge and experience to the fullest potential in making a difference in the world. A single mother of three, she enjoys traveling, learning new things, and volunteering as a board member on several local organizations in her free time.
