Chiyedza

Program Manager

Chiyedza is a recent graduate from the University of Washington with a B.S. in Public Health - Global Health. During her undergraduate studies, Chiyedza had a large focus on human rights studies, and coupled with her passions to support marginalized groups within society, is excited to work towards BEST's mission to end slavery and trafficking. As an immigrant and woman of color, Chiyedza has witnessed first hand how marginalized groups fall in the cracks of society and are often overlooked. She is excited to be joining the BEST team to provide a public health holistic lens and to be working toward being an advocate and an ally for those experiencing slavery and trafficking.

During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, hitting the gym, and exploring all that Washington has to offer.
